Hmm, who am I playing with today? — I muttered to myself while reading the schedule on the wall.
There’s something really interesting about the act of play.
Play makes time go by faster, though you wish it last forever.
Play makes us perform better, with less pressure.
Play heightens our senses, while keeping us fluid.
If you watch the greats at anything their is always an element of play in their work.
For me was im the organized-chaos of the line.
When you were a child you knew how to use you imagination to make wonderous events take shape even if only in your mind.
When I was on the line I got to spend the day doing exactly what I loved to do the most with a team.
Even when I didn’t love everyone on the team, it was still great.
When you were a kid you didn’t always get along with the kids on the playground, but you always found a way to make it work.
When you’re playing doing what you do you’re happy to be doing what you do so you’re willing to put more time, attention and effort into it.
Compound that with the pride involved in declaring this is your thing?
If you play while doing that thing there is no competition for you unless you create it yourself.
